Felipe Machado is an award-winning film creative director based in São Paulo, Brazil, with two decades of experience in the industry. For the past five years, he has been part of the talented pool of directors at Lobo and is also part of the Animation direction duo called Alton. The duo developed a unique visual style that combines traditional animation techniques with a cutting-edge design style. Their work has been internationally recognized and rewarded in festivals such as Cannes, Clio, LIA, Ciclope, El Ojo de Iberoamerica, Ciclope Latino, and Animamundi. Furthermore, their work has been featured in multiple publications, including Shots Magazine, Creative Review, and Adweek.
Felipe's main focus is animation and mixed media films for commercial and artistic projects. He is passionate about creating beautiful visuals, experimenting with different techniques such as 3D, 2D, stop-motion, live-action and most recently and obsessively AI for Animation. When not working on films he is collaborating, writing, singing and recording songs with other artists .
